Acorns Children's Hospice
Ballyhoo is proud to sponsor Acorns Children's Hospice as our official company charity. Acorns holds a special place in our hearts, and the work they do to support life-limited children and their families is beyond compare here in the Midlands. Most recently, members of the Ballyhoo team participated in the annual 12km lantern walk, raising over £300.
In addition, Ballyhoo has pledged to donate £1 for every review we receive through Feefo. We know that our clients are busy people so we thought this would be an excellent way to add a little incentive to leave some quick feedback and raise some money for a worthy charity in the process.
Working with and for our local community is something we aspire to do wherever possible, and we've been fortunate to be involved in a number of exciting local projects.
Since 2014, Ballyhoo has been a proud sponsor of Longbridge Light Festival, a contemporary public art project celebrating the history and transformation of Longbridge. As part of the most recent festival in October 2016, we assisted artistic duo, Juneau Projects, with the development of a pioneering online application allowing members of the public to submit laser-cut festival badge designs.
Ballyhoo is also the founder of Longbridge Device Lab - an open project giving the public free, hands-on access to test their websites and applications across a range of industry representative smartphones and tablets.
