We offer services designed to help you find success online.

We are Ballyhoo

As an established digital agency, we offer a range of services designed to help you prosper online.

Our goal is simple; solve problems and create successful websites. We achieve this by drawing on years of experience, knowing our industry inside out and by paying attention to emerging trends and technologies.

Based in the heart of England, in Longbridge, Birmingham, we are ideally placed to work with organisations across the UK and beyond.

After over a decade in the industry, we’ve worked on a broad range of projects; we hope yours will be the latest addition to the list.

Define “Ballyhoo”

/balɪˈhuː/
noun: extravagant publicity or fuss

We’re often asked what Ballyhoo means. Not a word you hear every day, is it? Ballyhoo is defined as “extravagant publicity or fuss”, and it was chosen because we believe that our approach to web design and digital marketing will get your products and services in front of people.

Our Values

Certified Green Hosting

Both this website and our clients’ websites are all hosted on green-certified servers that use renewable energy to run. We’re proud to say that our hosting infrastructure has produced zero carbon emissions since 2020.

Verify this for yourself by visiting our profile and let us know if you’d like to display the green hosting badge on your website!

Ecologi Climate Action

We are proud members of Ecologi – tracking our carbon footprint and helping to plant trees and fund climate positive action.

Since 2021 we’ve tracked over 36 tCO2e of business emissions; however, we have prevented 120 tCO2e through verified carbon avoidance projects and planted 1,895 trees in reforestation projects across the globe.

Living Wage Employer

Ballyhoo is an accredited Living Wage Employer, licensed by the Living Wage Foundation.

We pay all of our staff above the UK Living Wage and are committed to high employment standards and paying staff for the real cost of living. This allows us to support our team and their families – we truly value our team and we want them to know this.

Charitable Giving

The Primary charity we support is Acorn’s Childrens Hospice, a charity close to our hearts which supports life-limited children and their families in the Midlands.

We support numerous other charities though, most recently organising a 2022 Christmas food bank appeal for B31 Foodbank and a Macmillan Coffee Morning in our building.

Clean Creatives

We have pledged our alliance with Clean Creatives, stating that we will never work with fossil fuel polluters, declining any contracts with clients within the fossil fuel industry, helping towards a sustainable future in the creative industry.

We are proud to say that we have never worked with a fossil fuel client and never will.

Help to Grow

Help to Grow is a Government scheme that gives business the opportunity to get together with other businesses over 12 weeks to support them with their growth action plan.

Our MD Anthony Chaffey is a Help to Grow Mentor, providing his time for no cost to help other business owners and building on previous mentoring experience.
